Structured Cable Wiring Page
Structured Wiring is a multipurpose system of in-wall wire and cable, linking a central distribution center/hub with multimedia outlets, located in key rooms of your home (ex. home office/den/study, kitchen, family/great room, & each bedroom). This system delivers all the voice, data and video (ex. cable, internet access, & telephone) performance you need today while providing the capacity to upgrade to future technological demands. LiveWire’s Technicians only install the highest quality of wire available and we label, test, certify, and document every cable installed on premises.
Dedicated Theatre & Surround Sound
LiveWire can create a Dedicated Theatre or Surround Sound system in any room in your home. Just imagine having the same amazing cinematic experiences, even 3D, without all the distractions of the public movie theatre. We can provide you with the same intense, heart pounding thrills and sounds in the privacy of your own home. This is possible only with the quality engineered and calibrated equipment and systems found through LiveWire Technologies. We not only install but offer our knowledge and assistance in your selection of video display, speakers, receivers, media players, seating, and even lighting to accommodate your budget, as well as the vision for your home. LiveWire takes into consideration each individual customer needs, to create the best experience and system possible.
Audio/Video Calibration
Have you ever wondered why a television or stereo system that looked or sounded great in the store suddenly looks dull or sounds flat in your home? Most audio/video equipment is calibrated to the factory settings, these settings are programmed with the intent of sales and marketing. This makes the product view beautifully while in a retail location but never produce a quality picture or sound once introduced to a home environment. This is where LiveWire can help; we use the highest quality of calibration equipment available to adjust and attune your television or stereo system to the clearest picture and sound possible.
Whole House Audio Systems
With today’s technologies we are given the option of two types of distributed audio systems. The first option is called Whole House Music. This is where you have one source of music (example CD, radio, or iPod) which plays in each room throughout the house. With this type of system you are able to adjust the volume in the individual rooms but not the choice of music. The second option is a Multi-zone/Multi-source system. This system allows multiple users in multiple parts of the house to enjoy different sources of music, all at the same time. For example, your toddler can listen to their learning CD’s in a playroom while your teenager bounces around upstairs to his/her iPod, all while your dinner guests are relaxing in the dining area to your satellite radio system.
A LiveWire sales representative can assist you in deciding which audio system is best suited for your home and lifestyle.
Home Automation & Lighting Control
Home Automation can be confusing to some, but it is truly a simple convenience that no homeowner should be without. With all the innovative new technologies we can install anything from a simple lighting control system that operates a few rooms in your house, to a high quality intricate system to control not only lighting but security, audio distribution and your home theatre all while keeping the house climate controlled. These systems can operate from either a small remote, cell phone, computer, or a touch screen key pad installed in various locations in your home. The possibilities are endless with this technology. Just consider all the ways just this one investment can save you time and money. For example, you remember while sitting at the airport that you left the laundry room and bathroom lights on, you forgot to set the alarm or left the air conditioner on your night time setting of 65 degrees. Oh no, you’ll be gone for 2 weeks! Well with the right home automation system all of those stressful and costly examples can be corrected just by using a cell phone or computer. Imagine the convenience.
